Indeed, we're experts on which messages, slogans, and ideas will energize your voters and bring it home for your campaign on Election Day.
Don't Just Run, Win.™
Our process includes:
Contact us: We would be happy to discuss our capabilities or if there are additional services you would like more information about.
We have been keen observers of and participants in elections and the electoral process since 1980. Experienced? Yes. But stuck in our ways? Heck no! You won't get your grandfather's political campaign from us. Indeed, many of our campaigns are still regarded as cutting edge. Contact us today.
Yes. We work with all candidates from all parties for all offices. Nationwide. JoePolitical offers political messaging, advertising, and marketing for local, state, and national candidates across the U.S. Contact us to get started today.
Ah ha. We are frequently asked this. Win-loss records are more appropriately asked of campaign managers which we are not. JoePolitical creates powerful, relevant, and effective political messaging.
We, then, are better asked, "How effective is your messaging?" The answer is, "Quite effective, frankly.": our messaging campaigns are unique, powerful, and winning. Contact us and we can win together.
The answer is YES. We work with pre-candidates, if you will, all the time. Contact us and we will help you get your messaging ducks in a row.
There are so many factors to consider when deciding whether or not to throw your hat in the ring. We are experienced at facing all of them.
Indeed, our experience has taught us that the best campaigns are the ones that are laid out in advance of the candidate's announcement and that are put in place at the announcement event for the electorate and the press to see on day one. (See our FAQ about "tough races.")
We consult very, very closely with all our candidates/their advisors. In this sense, the candidate will necessarily see, critique, and approve every message we create on his or her behalf. We work as partners towards an election day win - in it to win it together. Contact us today to discuss our capabilities.
Now, do we mock-up messaging for free in order to compete for the candidate's business? We might, but only under certain extremely limited circumstances.
We will not attack opposing candidates just for the heck of it. If there is a relevant critique of an opposing candidate, we will consult with our client and recommend the best ways to get that message out.
We do not engage in messaging that attacks an opposing candidate on a personal level -- "He's been an ineffective congressman," yes; "She's a bad mother," no. Contact us if you would like more information.
Our fee structure is unique as far as political marketing firms go. Many firms charge per hour, we do not. Other firms charge retainers against which they bill per hour (like lawyers do). We don't do this either.
All of our fees are clearly disclosed prior to our starting work for a client. In most cases, our fees consist of a monthly retainer and a deposit that is held in trust/escrow that gives us the agility to act quickly in securing placement of our candidate's messaging. Contact us and we can answer all of your questions.
Once we are formally retained, we travel almost right away to meet with the candidate, the candidate's family, and the candidate's advisors. We can also use a video conference via Zoom if you prefer. We are in this together and we prefer personal interaction with our clients whenever possible.
Absolutely. We prefer the Zoom platform, but have used other video-conferencing platforms, too. Contact us and we will set-up a Zoom call to meet and discuss your needs.
No. Never. All of our candidates maintain contact with and a professional relationship with our CEO who is not only your point of contact but who is also personally and intimately involved in every single one of our clients' messaging campaigns. In fact, it will be him that you will interact with more than anyone else at our Firm. (No, his name is not Joe.) Contact us to experience our brand of personal service -- before, on, and after election day!
Great question. A 2020 study at Yale University found that political ads moved candidates' favorability by only .05 of a point and influenced for whom individuals intended to vote by a statistically insignificant 0.007 of a percentage point.
We could do a 12-week course on effective political messaging, but in short, most political ads are ineffective (boring) because they are too general, too bland, too timid. If the candidate truly stands for something, his or her ads should demonstrate that same passion. Contact us to learn more about how we convey your passion in your messaging and translate your passion into votes.
"They" will tell you to spend more. We will tell you to prepare more. "It's a tough race" is no different than "The bar exam is a tough test," or "Her surgery will be a tough procedure," etc. Anything you don't adequately plan and prepare for can be tough.
We are and have been able to favorably position candidates in "tough races" because we plan in advance for every race, whether it is perceived by others to be "tough" or not. Just like a lawyer prepares for the bar exam or a surgeon for surgery, we work with our clients to prepare for their campaigns. Contact us today and get prepared to win.
Oh, the standards to which we hold our political candidates... Who doesn't, later in life, wish they could take back decisions made in their youth? We have been quite successful in what we call the "Art of Preemption."
Contact us today to learn more about how we can help you overcome your past before Election Day.
We like your thinking. Q: How many times do elected officials communicate with the people who elected them? A: Easy: Twice - once when the official is running and again when they're running for re-election.
We believe that being re-elected is a lot easier when elected officials continue to message the electorate. We are well-known for our "What I Did for You This Month" campaigns on behalf of those who hold public office. Contact us today.
Okay, we added the "somehow." Yes, we work with elected officials all the time. We work with them to prepare for re-election, of course, but we are very well-known for our after-election-day "What I Did for You This Month" messaging campaigns on behalf of those who hold public office. Contact us today to begin ensuring your re-election.
God asks a soldier, "What do you believe in?"
She answers: "I believe in protecting our nation, in democracy, and in a strong America."
"Very well," says God. "Come sit to my right."
Next, God asks a teacher, "What do you believe in?"
He answers: "I believe in the potential of our children and that gives me optimism in the future of America."
"Good,” says God. "You shall sit to my left."
Finally, God asks an elected official: "What do you believe in?"
The official answers, "I believe you're sitting in my chair."
Contact us with your favorite political joke.
We are often asked to take over the political messaging where the campaign wasn't getting results, wasn't seeing eye-to-eye with their current/former firm, was being charged too much for too little, and so forth.
Obviously the time before election day is a critical factor, but, yes, if you are considering a change please contact us right away. If nothing else, perhaps we can offer some suggestions to get things back on track for your campaign.
